Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who can participate in the SCJLS?
    All exhibitors must live in Smith County or living in an adjoining County and active due to cross county participation, or attend a Smith County school from the following districts: Arp, Bullard, Chapel Hill, Lindale, Tyler, Troup, Whitehouse, Winona, or any private/home school. Exhibitors must be an active member in the FFA/Junior FFA, FCCLA, or local 4-H club and between the ages of 8 and in the third grade and 19 years and not yet graduated from high school.
  • How do I get involved in a club or chapter?
    All exhibitors must be under the supervision of a County Extension Agent, Agricultural Teacher, or FCCLA Teacher. For more information, visit our "Clubs & Chapters" page.
