Top Hand Award
The SCJLS Top Hand Award encourages students to participate in events and activities that promote leadership, volunteerism, education, and marketing.

Active participation takes place from March 29, 2025 through March 22, 2026 for the
2026 SCJLS. Participation is optional and limited to high school students and
between the ages of 14 and 19 as of August 1, 2025.
Participating students are required to exhibit a minimum of one project in the
2026 Smith County Junior Livestock Show.
